What Does 30 Years Mean?

For Nick Scanniello, President of EuroMotorcars, 30 years means a lifetime of dedication to a company and vehicles which we were always proud to sell. With the advent of 2010, Nick will pass over the helm of leadership and retire with the knowledge that EuroMotorcars Bethesda will be managed confidently by his lifetime friend and colleague, Charlie Harmel.

Nick started in July 1979 as the General sales manager for EuroMotorcars Marlow Heights, which sold Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Subaru. Over the years, his job titles varied along with the brands we sold. He was General sales manager, sales manager, General manager, Partner in 1994 and then, finally, President in 2004. His presence here was always a constant, along with our firm commitment to the three pointed star. As other brands, such as Saab and Acura, came and went, Mercedes-Benz, like Nick, always remained strong.

His leadership, friendship and commitment cannot be replaced. His guidance sustained EuroMotorcars and reinforced the company's commitment to three ideals; courage, fairness and loyalty. Courage to commit to see projects and challenges through. Fairness to everyone you come into contact with and loyalty to the customer, employee, factory and all the people who travel with you.

Nick's full confidence in Charlie, Farokh and Phil leaves EuroMotorcars Bethesda, Germantown and Devon with determined leaders, committed to delivering the highest customer satisfaction and to our brands, Mercedes-Benz, Maybach, smart, Bentley and Rolls-Royce. We wish him well and hope that he fully enjoys his retirement.
