Used Mercedes-Benz Salesman of EuroMotorcars, Gives Back to Local Students

Gary Levy was highlighted May 7 in the Washington Post in both the print and online editions. His photo was prominently displayed in the article, "College-School Partnerships Offer Head Start on Higher Education" written by Maria Glod, a Washington Post Staff Writer.

Gary started speaking at local area high schools in 1987 when his daughter was a junior in high school. His daughter mentioned that parents were invited to come to school and speak about their professions to the students. She informed him that he couldn’t be included because his job as an automobile salesman was not a true profession. This started years of giving by Gary to local students in the form of motivational speaking. Ever since his daughter told him he couldn’t do it, he’s been giving professional motivational speeches at four or five high schools in the local area a month. His speeches include information on entry into business and the professional environment. He covers business in general, the automotive business, first impressions, commissions, pay plans, how to get a job, the importance of eye contact and many other important topics.

He appeared in the Washington Post article by chance. He was in the middle of a speech at the high school when the principal arrived with a reporter and photographer to work on the article. The photographer immediately started taking pictures of Gary in the middle of his speech.

In the article the caption read "Guest speaker Gary Levy of EuroMotorcars tries to engage Jennifer Hance in a college business class at Gaithersburg High. Nearly 430 Montgomery County students are in Montgomery College classes offered in high schools. "

Pre-Owned Sales

EuroMotorcars Bethesda is proud to announce that two of our employees have been promoted to new management positions. As of May 1, 2009, Gil Hofheimer has been promoted to “General Manager, Bentley and Rolls-Royce”. Gil has a long and rich history with us. He began as a new car salesman and sold new Mercedes-Benz for 11 years until he was promoted to PreOwned Manager and Sales Manager of Bentley and Rolls-Royce. He is the proud grandfather of 5 and has been married now for 41 years. He is looking forward to stimulating the super luxury vehicle market for new and PreOwned Bentley and Rolls-Royce business.

With Gil’s new promotion, it made sense to promote his right hand man, Gregg Eisenberg, who has been with us for 10 years, five in new car sales and then five as Assistant Sales Manager and Business Manager for PreOwned vehicles. With his promotion, Gregg is now “Used Car Manager, EuroMotorcars Bethesda”, where he will be responsible all other premium PreOwned vehicles other than Bentley and Rolls-Royce.
